I’ve just read the touching message on 任航 (Rèn Háng)’s web site:
On the 24th Feb 2017, 任航 (Rèn Háng), photographer and poet, chose to end his life at the age of 29 in 北京 (Běijīng). On behalf of his parents and friends, we hereby express our gratitude for all the care and help you have given us in the past. At this moment, we shall pause any project of 任航 (Rèn Háng)’s and stop selling his work, until further notice. Thank you for your understanding.

In his brief and nonconformist career, 任航 (Rèn Háng) also touched on the subject of chess, when, in the spring of 2014, his Women’s World Chess Champion 侯逸凡 (Hóu Yìfán)’s photo shoot appeared on The Exposed Issue of Oyster #104.
